The area has hundreds of herons and Open-billed Storks. This area is worth checking for flocks of Little Pratincole too flying around the rice fields of Siolim

Itinerary

  • Start your trip from Calangute and reach the Morjim beach at 6 AM. Enjoy a delicious and light breakfast and get prepped for your bird watching tour. Morjim beach is one of the beaches in Goa with gets a lot of migratory birds visiting in the winter. You can see thousands of terns and gulls sitting along the beach waiting for the waves to bring in food for them. Plovers, dunlins, sanderlings, turn stones can also be seen.
  • Head to Siolim feilds and enjoy the calm and the refreshing vibe of the place. The area has hundreds of herons and Open-billed Storks. This area is worth checking for flocks of Little Pratincole too flying around the rice fields of Siolim.
  • Return to your initial start point by 1 PM.
